Beef Stroganoff



  • Olive Oil, for cooking
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 125g Mushrooms, sliced
  • 350g Frying Steak, cut into strips
  • 1 Red Pepper, sliced
  • 425ml Milk
  • 1 pkt Knorr Stroganoff Mealmaker
  • Fresh Parsley, roughly chopped to serve


Heat a large lidded pan on medium high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Add onions and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms and fry until soft. Remove cooked onions and mushrooms from the pan and set aside.

Drizzle pan with olive oil and increase heat to high. Add the steak strips and cook until browned.

Add peppers, onions and mushrooms. Give a quick stir to combine.

In a medium sized bowl or jug, mix Knorr Stroganoff Mealmaker with the milk. Pour mixture into the pan, then bring to the boil while stirring.

Lower heat to a simmer, then cover pan with a lid and cook for 8-10 minutes.

Season to taste and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve with rice or creamy mashed potato.
