Sales Team
The Gala Sales Team comprises of Regional Managers and Fresh Food Managers. The Regional Managers function is to assist in driving our retailers business forward through applying the latest category management recommendations for the convenience sector. The regional managers are responsible for taking a holistic view of the retailers business and assist in monitoring objectives, performing gap analysis and providing assistance with corrective action plans to ensure the targets set out at the beginning of the financial year are achieved. The Fresh Food Managers concentrate on the Deli and Hot food areas and assist in HACCP, stock control and waste management. This is an important aspect of Gala Retail Services commitment to our retailers to ensure our retailers are successful in their venture.

The Development Team
The Development team is responsible for the overall development of Gala throughout the country. Retail development places the Development Team at the core of our new business opportunities. The Development Team coordinate all aspects of each new project and liaise with the retailers to discuss areas such as business management, break even analysis, margins and overheads. They ensure the smooth running of the development process. The team's ability to prioritise tasks is a must with their busy daily schedules, as they meet with both existing and potential retailers on an ongoing basis. Gala Retail Services also offer a Project Co-coordinator / Advisor and a friendly and helpful Customer Service team to support both Retailers and Regional Managers.

The Project Coordinators work in conjunction with each of the Regional Managers on the development of our new stores. The Coordinators have extensive experience in retail management. Their experience in the FMCG Market shows in the knowledge that is used to develop the product range, category management, and general retail information, whilst on site assisting all retailers and staff. They work closely with the retailer and development constructors on the store's layout in relation to product display, merchandising, planograms and space management.
The Project Coordinators are there to help launch the opening of a store alongside the retailer, and are also present to assist in the preparations and aftermath of this busy occasion. The Project Coordinators also call back to view the stores progress and can assist with advice on all aspects of retailing.
The IT Team
Gala Retail Services Inhouse IT Team assist with store openings and one to one training. We ensure our retailers get off to the right start from the day the store opens. Our aim is to show our retailers how to utilize their epos systems to their full potential through group training session's and one to one training where necessary.
